When you struggle to describe the depths of your heart, when words alone simply won’t do, sometimes it’s the marriage of perfect lyrics and a breathtaking melody that will penetrate the heart and fill the soul with warmth and joy. From the most robust and lively chapters, to times when we crave support and understanding, creating a soundtrack that plays incessantly in our minds can help us to place the crescendo to match the quickening of our heart. The elation we feel becomes an audible expression of joy.
This is the soundtrack of our lives. It plays over and over while we cook together and dance in the kitchen, while we lay underneath the stars and talk about our dreams, and even while we sit down with couples to relive their story through the images we’ve captured. We are constantly searching for songs to add to our list. Songs that aren’t necessarily at the top of the charts at the time, but that tug at our heartstrings and remind us to slow down long enough to enjoy at least a few moments together every day.
