When I was a little girl, my mom would let me stand on her feet as we danced in the kitchen and she sang “Could I Have This Dance”. It is one of those memories that I will cherish forever.
Early on in my relationship with Kelly I shared that memory with him and it wasn’t long before he and I were dancing in the kitchen. After 8 years of marriage, I love that Kelly still comes up to me while I’m cooking dinner and grabs my hand for a slow dance. It doesn’t matter if I’m cutely dressed up, wearing my favorite Anthropologie apron, or sporting sweats and a pony tail, I feel like a princess in a fairytale every time.
The other night he introduced me to this version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” while we danced, and now I can’t stop listening to it! Just wanted to share it in case any of you other hopeless romantics (or mommies) out there feel like dancing in the kitchen. ♥
